Nathan Leitao
Before joining the Lukin group in 2018, Nathaniel graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, obtaining a Joint BSc in Honours Mathematics and Physics while working predominantly in the Childress-Sankey quantum optics group. In the Lukin group his current research interests focus broadly on theoretical studies in quantum control and dynamics in strongly interacting quantum many-body systems. Recently his work has ranged from developing novel analytical tools for robustly engineering Hamiltonians in qudit ensembles to combining techniques from quantum optics and condensed matter field theory to unravel out-of-equilibrium dynamics in disordered interacting spin systems.
